On this page you will find my studio policies. These are also outlined in your studio contract.
Lessons are offered in home (dependent on scheduling and travel), at my home, and virtually.
Please inquire about lesson availability and I will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs!

Educational Philosophy
Strong Foundation
Having a solid set up on the instrument is key for future success, which is why this is a focus at the start of our lessons and throughout the learning process. Through modeling and building awareness, we find the most natural, relaxing set up.
Growth Mindset
Although learning any instruments is challenging, I believe it is possible for all students. Through goal setting and reflection on our lessons together, we develop tools and strategies to improve and progress in a positive environment.

The process of learning and instrument and making music should be fun! We push through challenges by being curious about our learning and finding engaging ways to learn new skills and techniques. We celebrate our wins and share our music with others whenever possible.
Lesson Fees
The prices below are my typical base rate for in person lessons. However, I do occasionally offer sliding scale rates to students and families if needed. I want quality music education to be accessible to as many students as possible. I trust that families will respect my time and experience in this field and pay what financially works for them.
60 minutes: $100
45 minutes: $75
30 minutes: $50
Payment is due on the first of the month. You will receive an invoice through text or email prior to the beginning of the month. Payment is able to made through Venmo.
With the school year tuition payment model, you pay the same rate every month, whether you are taking one lesson or four. It is the family’s responsibility to make payment in a timely manner. Failure to make consistent payments can result in lesson termination.
Missed Lesson/Cancellation Policy
If lessons need to be missed or rescheduled please inform me as soon as possible.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR MISSED OR CANCELED LESSONS.
MAKE UPS CAN BE AVAILABLE DEPENDING ON MY SCHEDULE AND AVAILABLITY.
